I flew into Vegas after several weeks travelling in Bali, England and NYC. I had had a weeks snooker and 9 ball practice in Grimsby, England and I was hitting the ball ok. However I had only ever played a few times on the USA style bar box tables while travelling in 1995. I was confident that I could play well because the pockets are huge but I was unsure about how I would cope with the bigger balls.
It always been my dream to play in the BCA national championships in Las Vegas and I can only say the sheer size of tournament far exceeded my wildest expectations and rekindled my pashion for the sport!
