In only my second year and despite only playing 6 out of the 9 events, I finished ranked 2nd in the New South Wales rankings. In the 6 events I played in I accumilated more points than any other player which makes me wonder if I would have topped the overall rankings if I had played in all the available events.
The overall standings where as follows:
404 - Shaun Budd
327 - Craig Riley
300 - Dennis Paul
236 - Joe Deguara
236 - George Mariglis
229 - Stuart Lawler
221 - Steve Abdul
The standings for the 6 events that I played in ONLY are:
327 - Craig Riley
294 - Shaun Budd
270 - Dennis Paul
192 - Joe Deguara
Of course not everyone played in all the 6 events that I played in so it is hard to get a true impression. Given that it was my choice to miss some events and that Shaun Budd won more events than anyone else this year most people would he agree he deserves the overall number 1 ranking.
