| I have been supporting Manchester United since 1985 when I saw Norman Whiteside scored "that goal" in the FA Cup Final. Sadly despite living in Manchester for 3 years while at University their sheer popularity meant I never got to see them play.
How ironic then that over 20 years later I should watch them live for the first time in Beijing, China!

| I arrived in the UK after a few crazy weeks in the USA. I was really looking forward to watching the footy in the UK as opposed to Australia but I wasn't planning on flying to Portugal to use my tickets. I was running out of holidays from work and I was hoping to sell my tickets during my stay. However I missed my flight back to Oz and decided to take advantage of this bad luck by ctaching a last minute flight to Portugal to watch two Quarter Final matches. |

| I flew to Japan for the first time to join the barmy army and cheer on England in the 2002 world cup finals. I was going back to the UK to visit family and decided to stop in Japan in both directions! First I stopped in Tokyo where I saw England and Ireland play there opening games. On the way back I stopped in Osaka for a quarter final game what I had hopped would be England v Brazil. |

| A crowd of 78,416 turned out at Giants Stadium on July 14, 1996, at the time, the crowd was the largest ever for a sporting event at the Meadowlands Sports Complex, surpassed only by the Pope's visit in 1995.
In the following exhibition, Brazil's Olympic team -- featuring budding superstar Ronaldo -- defeated the FIFA World Stars 2-1. |

| I decided to go to America for a year after quiting Loughborough Univerity. I had chosen the wrong course and I wanted to take a year out to 'find myself' and err, party!
I arrived in New York City and the sight of its imposing skyline is something I'll never forget. I met my friend Jim in the middle of Manhatton and we decieded to try and buy some blackmarket tickets. |
